Plan Your Visit to the Wizarding World of Tiger Safari

Ever dreamed of spending Christmas at Hogwarts? The Wizarding World of Tiger Safari makes it possible. During our second annual event, Tiger Safari Zoological Park in Tuttle, Oklahoma, becomes a gathering place where witches and wizards of every age can wear Hogwarts robes, meet Luna, a real Eurasian Eagle Owl, and leave with a photo that looks like it was taken on the castle grounds. The event continues through December 23rd, and a bit of planning will help make your visit truly magical.

What Awaits You at the Wizarding World of Tiger Safari

The highlight of the event is a photo session with Luna, our Eurasian Eagle Owl. Guests can hold Luna and pose before a green screen that sets them directly in front of Hogwarts. Feel free to show your house pride by bringing your own wizard robes — and if your house-elf has misplaced them, no worries. We gladly provide Gryffindor robes for witches and wizards of all sizes.

Beyond the photo, the park houses enough exotic animals to make even Hagrid envious. Be sure to visit our new reptile building — who knows, perhaps a parselmouth is among you. Reptile fans can also get photos with our large Burmese python and Argentine tegu for an additional $5.

No visit to the Wizarding World would feel complete without a few treats. We'll have Wizard sweets for sale, including chocolate frogs, jelly slugs, and Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. While you're here, stop by Ollivander's and choose your own wand to take home.

Photo Session Times and Pricing

The park is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Luna photo sessions take place at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 4:30 pm. These sessions fill up quickly, so we suggest building your day around one of those times.

• Luna photos: $20 per person for a picture sent by email.
• Younger children: If your little one would rather not hold Luna, a stuffed "Hedwig" is available to hold instead — $10 for a picture.
• Reptile photos: $5 extra for a picture with our Burmese python or Argentine tegu.

Keep in mind that photos must be booked in advance. Large groups should call 405-414-9365 or 405-381-9453 ahead of time to schedule a photo session.

Tips for a Smooth, Magical Visit

• Book ahead. Photos are available by pre-booking only, and large groups should call to reserve a time. This keeps sessions running smoothly and ensures every witch and wizard gets their moment with Luna.
• Arrive early for your photo time. Allow time to park and locate the photo area so you're ready when your session starts.
• Bring your own robes if you like. House pride is welcome, and Gryffindor robes are also available on site.
• Dress for the weather. The event continues through December 23rd, so check the forecast and dress accordingly — Oklahoma winters can be unpredictable.
• Plan for the whole park. The Wizarding World is only one part of Tiger Safari. Set aside time to explore the animals and the new reptile building.
• Bring a camera — or just bring yourself. Your Luna photo will be emailed to you, and you're welcome to capture other memories around the park.

The Wizarding World of Tiger Safari continues through December 23rd. Please note that the pumpkin patch has been cancelled due to staffing, but the Wizarding World event and photo opportunities are still happening.
