Meet Wizarding World of Tiger Safari
Wizarding World of Tiger Safari is a seasonal celebration held at Tiger Safari Zoological Park in Tuttle, Oklahoma, where exotic animals and wizarding-world enchantment come together. Inspired by a love of Harry Potter and a passion for wildlife, the experience welcomes witches, wizards, and Muggles of every age to step into a storybook setting and create magical memories.
How It Began
Now in its second annual year, Wizarding World of Tiger Safari was made for fans who have always imagined spending Christmas at Hogwarts or simply wanted to hold an owl and feel a touch of magic. The event continues through December 23rd, turning the park into a place where guests can wear Hogwarts robes, pose before a green screen with Hogwarts Castle behind them, and meet Luna, our Eurasian Eagle Owl. Bring your own house robes or borrow a Gryffindor set from us—the experience is built to feel welcoming and unforgettable.
What You Can Do Here
- Photos with Luna: Get your picture taken with our Eurasian Eagle Owl in front of a Hogwarts backdrop. Sessions run at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. Luna photos are $20 per person for an emailed image; for younger children who would rather not hold Luna, a stuffed Hedwig is available for a $10 photo.
- Reptile Encounters: If you fancy a walk on the wilder side, we offer photos with our large Burmese python and Argentine tegu for an additional $5. Our new reptile building houses a range of exotic animals that would make even Hagrid jealous.
- Wizard Treats and Wands: Visit our shop for chocolate frogs, jelly slugs, and Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, then stop by Ollivander's to choose your own wand to take home.
Who Visits Us
We welcome Harry Potter fans, families, school groups, and anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind outing around Tuttle. Large groups are encouraged to call ahead at 405-414-9365 or 405-381-9453 to book photo sessions in advance. The park is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and the Wizarding World of Tiger Safari experience comes with park admission.
